You might not know of Edgar Kaufmann of Pittsburgh. His marvelous home could not have existed without his family's love of a waterfall on Bear run, a rushing mountain stream on their property. His home now called “Falling Waters” is perhaps the most renowned residence in the world. The genius is that it is in perfect harmony with its setting. It is an expression of the Kaufmann's love for this beautiful place.

Deborah Fein-Brug, AIA, begins every project by getting to know the clients. She is experienced with residential and commercial building and received her registration as an architect in 1991 from the state of Maryland. She has guided the restoration of public buildings and private residences and studied historic preservation at the University of Pennsylvania.
